TVI, Inc. dba Savers / Value Village is a for profit professional fundraiser where required. See disclosure details. Savers / Value Village accepts donations of used goods on behalf of nonprofits, and purchases those goods from the nonprofit, providing them with unrestricted revenue. Shopping at Savers / Value Village does not directly benefit any nonprofit.
We accept the following categories of items on behalf of local nonprofits. Just drop your items off at one of several locations near you. How’s that for friendly service?

Electrical
Small electrical toasters, radios, power tools, irons, blenders, mixers, stereos, CD players, speakers, DVD and VCR players, table lamps, floor lamps, humidifiers
Exercise & outdoor
Bicycles, golf accessories, garden tools, sports equipment, exercise equipment, skis
Kids
Toys, games, puzzles, stuffed animals
Kitchen
Pots, pans, utensils, china cups, vases, dishes, cutlery, glassware, silverware, stemware
Knick-knacks
Jewelry, crafts, mugs, candles, pictures/frames, baskets, ornaments, hand tools
Media
Hardback and paperback books, magazines, records, tapes, CDs, videos, DVDs, computer software
Small furniture
All chairs, tables (dining, kitchen, coffee, end, computer, night stand, patio), dressers, hutch, armoire, bookcase, cabinets, entertainment centers
Note: Our Canadian stores are currently not accepting any item that requires 2 people to lift.

Bed/bath towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, curtains, tablecloths
Note: Please contact your local store for a complete list of acceptable and non-acceptable donations.This list may be changed and/or modified as needed to accommodate business needs. Some locations and Donation Drive Fundraisers do not accept any furniture items, so please call ahead.

Automobile parts
Tires, mufflers, fenders, etc.
Beds & bedding parts
Hide-a-beds, bunk beds, mattresses, box springs, waterbeds, coil springs, etc.
Construction materials
Lumber, pipes, floors, tubs, cabinets, carpet, doors, windows, etc.
Note: some items in this category may be sellable, such as faucets, light fixtures, stained glass windows, hardware, decorative items.
Damaged furniture
Torn, soiled or in need of repair
Flammable products
Any items that operate on or contain fuel including: gas cans, propane cylinders, barbecues, lawn mowers, weed trimmers, camp stoves, tiki torches, etc.
Hazardous materials
Batteries, paints, chemicals, cleaning products, poisons, any liquids, etc.
Infant products
Car seats, cribs and related products
Note: accepting these items is restricted by law.
Large appliances
Refrigerators, dishwashers, furnaces, stoves, washing machines, etc.
Marine vessels
Boats, canoes, kayaks, etc.
Televisions & computer monitors
Large televisions in cabinets, CRT “tube” televisions and monitors.
Note: we do accept LCD, LED or plasma flat screens.
Weapons
Firearms, explosives, ammunition, flares, etc.
Other items
Swing sets, food, animals
Note: Please contact your local store if you have a question regarding acceptable and non-acceptable donations. CDC attendants and drivers have the right to politely refuse unacceptable items. Consideration for the donor should be balanced with team member safety, store safety and ease of disposing.
