Our Ongoing Commitment to Local Communities
A letter from our CEO
 
 
As a thrift retailer with deep community ties, we’ve always been committed to providing a safe and unique shopping experience. Whether browsing our racks or dropping off your pre-loved goods, we want you to feel confident every time you come to Savers®. That’s why we’re listening closely to the advice of health and government officials, as well as feedback from our team members and customers.
  
We’re taking the following actions to create a safe environment:
 
New store and Community Donation Center™ hours.
Our locations are open on a store-by-store basis as we assess market conditions and work with local health officials. We are maintaining store schedules that allow additional time to thoroughly clean and stock our sales floors. You can find the most up-to-date information about your local store here. 
 
Creating a safe shopping space.
We’ve created additional space on our sales floors to allow for social distancing while you shop. You’ll notice floor decals throughout our stores, making it easier to judge the proper physical distance from other shoppers. Your local store may also limit the number of shoppers inside at any given time. 
Like other retailers, we’ve closed our fitting rooms to protect your health and safety. We know that trying on items is an important part of your thrifting experience, so we've extended our exchange policy on clothing and shoes to 14 days, allowing ample time for you to try on items at home. 
 
Enhanced daily cleaning procedures. 
We’re deep cleaning our stores and have increased the cleaning frequency of commonly touched surfaces, like check-out areas and carts. In addition, sanitizer stations can be found in every store. 
 
Protective gear.
Our team members are wearing protective face coverings, and we’ve added Plexiglas partitions at checkout for both their protection and yours. We kindly ask that you wear a mask while in our stores and if you aren’t feeling well or have been around anyone exposed to COVID-19, please stay home and take care of yourself. We’ll be here when you feel better.
 
Our reusable bag policy.
As a temporary and precautionary measure, our team members are not handling shopper-supplied bags, though you can choose to pack up your purchases yourself at check-out where permitted. 
 
We want everyone who comes to Savers® to have a great experience with us. Thank you for your support as our team works hard to make our stores and Community Donation Center™ locations a safe place for us all. Your health and safety are what matters the most.
