We believe training is a two-way street. If you’re the type to pursue your career growth, we’ll be your biggest advocate. Whether you’re working in store operations, IT, finance, marketing or any other department, you’ll learn by being “on the job and in the work.” And once you do learn the ropes, we’ll make sure you keep building on what you know.
The amount of training varies from department to department, but all team members walk away with a clear understanding how things work — not just your job but the entire operation. For store managers, training comprises 15 weeks of paid, uninterrupted time whereas for other folks, a shorter learning curve might apply. Regardless, you’ll be well on your way to earning a PhD in Thrifting.
In addition to our full library of training resources, store managers across North America and Australia attend our yearly Retail Leadership Conference. There, they learn about the year’s initiatives from executive leaders. The weeklong conference features keynote speeches, networking opportunities and breakout sessions where managers participate as both instructors and learners to continually improve our company’s performance.
